The Process

​

The entire whitening process takes place in one visit and consists of four to five simple steps.

 

1. A cheek retractor is placed to gently hold the lips back and fully expose the teeth.

 

2. Vitamin-E is applied on the gums to keep them hydrated and protected

 

3. A photosensitive whitening gel is brushed onto the outer surfaces of the teeth. A combination of blue and violet LED light is then positioned to activate the gel during three back-to-back 20- minute sessions.

4. After the whitening treatment, a mineral-rich product called BOOST is applied to help reduce sensitivity and support enamel and gum health. 

 

5. If selected, a final product called SEAL-IT is applied to eliminate post-care restrictions and lock in the results.

 

The whitening gel I use is 100% organic, made in the USA and features a peroxide-based formula, specifically 20% dental-grade hydrogen peroxide combined with a viscous, water-based gel that includes natural ingredients like aloe vera and grapefruit seed extract. This formula not only whitens teeth effectively, but also conditions them throughout the process, helping prevent sensitivity and discomfort.
